About Our Kinship

We are a group of roughly 200 players with over 800 characters, aged 25 years or older, that enjoy playing LOTRO at our own pace. We have some who are die hard raiders, and we have some others that primarily craft. We have some players with multiple level 50's, some around since Open Beta that are still working on leveling their first character. And we have everything in between, so if there's a style within LOTRO you'll find it here at The Osgiliath Guard. To help kin get their level 45 class quests items we have been running Carn Dum and Urugarth multiple times each week. Weekends are usually The Rift, PvMP, Epics, and instances. We also have a kinship Craft Bank to support players in honing their crafting skills. Monthly meetings and special events like the Flight of the Ring Footrace and the Cooking Raid bring us together, and underlying all our kinship activities is one simple goal: Have Fun!

JOINING TOG's LOTRO KINSHIP (PHASE 2 )

  1. Go to the TOG-LOTRO Sub-Forum. Click on the Character Registration Thread. List all of your characters who you want added to the kinship.
  2. Keep this thread handy. It contains the names of our officers and their alts.
  3. To get a kinship invite in-game, add some of the officer names to your friend list. When you see them on-line, send one of them a /Tell (in game) to get a kinship invite. They will check the Character Registration Thread to verify you are clear for membership.(As an alternative go to the fellowship pannel, do a search for OSGILIATH and ask any member if an officer is on who can invite you into kin.)
  4. Register with this site using the instructions in this thread.  This site is no longer accepting registrations.  While the kin is still active and well most of the the functions offered by this site are now being performed on the TOG/LOTRO site.  The wiki still contains useful information and is accessible by guests.   The registration information above is still accurate and can be used to register with TOG.
You might also be able to catch us at our kin house, 1 High Road, Staffold, Bree-land.
I, my officers, and my kin look forward to meeting you.
